Internationally and nationally, Shraddha Kapoor's stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao, is destroying the box office. In just four days, the movie brought in an astounding $5.3 million (about 45 crores) from international box office receipts, with a sharp increase over the weekend. The movie had a modest opening day gross of $875k on Thursday, but it picked up steam on friday and had a massive surge on Saturday, particularly in the gulf market where the revenues quadrupled.

The movie is gaining pace in a number of areas because to the tremendously favorable word-of-mouth around it. stree 2 has made about 235 crores (195 crores net) in India; add 45 crores from international profits, and the total comes to over 280 crores globally.

With this trajectory, the movie is expected to surpass its previous releases and become the highest-grossing hindi film abroad this year. With over 400 crores in global receipts, Prabhas' kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) is now the highest-grossing film of the year; however, stree 2 is probably going to surpass this figure by the end of the first week. Additionally, stree 2 is vying for the 450 crore global box office record held by SRK's Dunki. By the conclusion of its second week, stree 2 may surpass these numbers if the present pace continues.
