The video, shared on Saturday, garnered significant attention from both celebrities and fans. Among the comments, one user asked, “Who is Roohi’s mother? Can anyone please clarify?”

Karan Johar, who welcomed twins yash and Roohi through surrogacy on february 7, 2017, was quick to address the query. Yash’s name honors Karan’s late father, yash Johar, a prominent film producer, while Roohi’s name is a creative twist on Karan’s mother, Hiroo Johar’s name. karan frequently shares endearing moments of yash and Roohi on social media, where they have amassed a large following due to their adorable antics.

In response to the fan's confusion, karan commented, “@fardinatasha I AM!!! I was so concerned about your confusion that I had to address your pertinent and relevant question.”

Karan recently also shared a video of Rakhi celebrations on instagram, showing Roohi tying rakhi on Yash, with Karan’s mother, Hiroo Johar, present. He captioned the post: “Rakhee love !!!! It’s always a process to get the tradition of this beautiful festival of love just right! The mothership contributed while the son was in a hurry to go nowhere! The daughter was dutifully doing her best, and I was trying to manage the event with little success!!! Happy Raksha Bandhan to all! Take care of each other and spread the joy.”

In a recent interview with Faye D’souza, karan johar also spoke about his personal life, revealing that he has been single for a long time and is no longer seeking a partner. Reflecting on his past relationships, he mentioned having been in “one and a half relationships” and that he ceased his search for companionship after turning 50.
