While supplying jewellery, Jitendra met filmmaker v Shantaram one day. After this, Jitendra worked as the body double of the heroine in Shantaram's film. Jitendra narrated an incident on Kapil Sharma's show and said, 'I was a junior artist during the shooting of the film 'Sehra'. I had to flatter Shantaram ji, I was ready to do anything at that time. So one day, during the shooting in Bikaner, heroine sandhya ji could not find a body double. Shantaram ji made me sandhya ji's body double and this is how I entered films.'
