On august 23, 2024, the Biebers announced the arrival of their firstborn with an announcement on instagram with a close-up shot of the baby's foot. Justin wrote alongside the post, "WELCOME home JACK BLUES BIEBER." Hailer, 27, reshared the post on her instagram stories with a bear and blue heart emoji.

As per Justin Bieber's family tradition, they name their sons in such a way that the initials 'JB' continue on his side of the family. The trend has been in his family for a couple of generations now.

Like Justin Bieber, his father, Jeremy Bieber, and some of his siblings, have the same initials.

It's not just among the boys, Justin's half-sister Jazmyn Bieber, 16, and half-brother, Jaxon Bieber, also share the same initials. Both siblings are the children of Jeremy and his ex Erin Wagner.

The singer also named his son Jack after his father's middle name in another emotional tribute.

Justin's dad Jeremy and his mom Patte Mallette split a few months before he was born in 1994.

After announcing the arrival of his son, Justin's mother Pattie also shared her excitement and congratulations to the new parents. "CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey. I love YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!"

Hailey's father, stephen Baldwin, reshared Mallette's tweet, adding, "Amen, Congratulations to you and may god continue to bless our family."
