VCK leader Thirumavalavan visited director Mari Selvaraj's residence after watching the movie 'Vaalai'. Directed and produced by Mari Selvaraj, 'Vaazhai' is a small budget film directed by him. Ponvel and rahul are donning the lead roles in the film. Kalaiyarasan, nikhila vimal, jai Sathish Kumar, divya Duraisamy, Janaki and others are donning important roles in the film. Many videos of famous directors and actors of the film industry hugging Mari Selvaraj after watching the special scene of 'Vaazhai’ went viral on the internet. The film was released in theaters on august 23 amidst the high expectations of the people.

People are flocking to theatres to watch the film. Mari Selvaraj's Vaazhai has a great impact on the hearts of the viewers. From the screenplay to the characters in the film, the entire film is getting the maximum support of the people.  The film has collected Rs 1.5 crore on the first day of its worldwide release. Looking at the overwhelming response of the people to the film, it is expected that the film's collection may increase further.

In this situation, VCK party leader Thol. Thirumavalavan went to Mari Selvaraj's house and met his family and greeted them. Thirumavalavan felicitated the family and the who acted as two children in the film with shawls. He also ate food on a banana leaf with his family at Mari Selvaraj's house. Mari Selvaraj, who shared the video on social media, thanked Thirumavalavan for coming in person and holding his heart tightly.
