A blossoming flower sits in the middle of Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam's flag, while two elephants stand perpendicular to it. Elephants and flowers are both seen as symbols of triumph, and the newly unveiled flag discreetly conveys this idea.
 
Additionally, internet users have noted that there is a startling resemblance between this flag and the national flags of spain and the state flag of Karnataka.
