Actor Suriya's Ganguva, which was scheduled to release on october 10, has been postponed.
This action has been taken in line with the demand of the distributors.
It was earlier announced that Gangua will be released on october 10  during the upcoming Ayudha pooja holiday. On the same day, it was announced that Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan will be released.
Saraswati Puja will be celebrated on october 11 (Friday), vijayadashami on october 12  (Saturday) and  Sunday.

Suriya's Kanguva

Actor Suriya's 42nd film 'Kanguva' is directed by Siruthai Siva. bollywood actress disha patani is paired with surya in this film. bobby Deol, who is best known for his villain role in the movie Animal, is playing the villain. yogi Babu, anand Raj, Redin Kingsley, and ravi Raghavendra are also part of the cast. The film's posters, song, and teaser composed by devi sri prasad received mixed reviews from the public,  and the trailer of the film was released on august 12.

Kanguvan is a language.
Speaking about the film, director Siva says, "Kanguvan is a language. The letter above the name Kanguvan in the poster of the film is an ancient tamil called 'Vatteluththu'. It was in vogue after the 3rd century.  Gangu means fire.KGanguvan means a man with the power of fire."

"We are planning to release Kanguva in 10 languages. We felt that the name of the character Suriya sir will be playing in the film will be catchy, powerful, and meaningful. The film will be an action fantasy film.

Rajini's Vettaiyan

After the stupendous success of 'Jailer', Rajinikanth is donning the lead role in ‘Vettayan'. This is Rajinikanth's 170th film and directed by Gnanavel of Jaibhim fame. Anirudh has composed the music for the film. This is Rajinikanth's fourth collaboration with Rajinikanth after working together in Petta, Darbar, and Jailer.

The film marks the fourth collaboration of amitabh bachchan and Rajinikanth after Andha Kanoon, Kerafdaar, and Hum. Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, and Thushara Vijayan have teamed up with Rajinikanth for the first time in this film. The film will be released simultaneously in tamil, Telugu, kannada and Hindi.
