Why did Rajkumar change his surname?
During a conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, rajkumar rao was asked if he changed his surname due to bollywood tradition. So the actor clarified that there is no such rule in the industry. Rajkumar said, "There is no such rule. I never used the surname. My passport also had only Rajkumar. This is so that people do not get confused about which Rajkumar you are talking about. Rajkumar Hirani, Santoshi, Gupta or this one. And Rao is a title given to Yadavs, so I started using it.”
stree 2 has done business beyond expectations
Meanwhile, on the success of stree 2, rajkummar rao said in an interview to news 18, “We were sure that the film will get a lot of love just like stree 1 got. stree has a huge fan following. But these numbers are much more than our expectations. We are very happy and very excited and very grateful that this is happening with a film like stree, because it is a very content-driven film.”
Rajkummar further said, “These figures... they mean that so many people have watched the film. Whatever the numbers are, it means that people have made an effort to go to the theatre to watch your film. It is very gratifying for me.
