Teachers used to call abhishek banerjee Deewar ka Amitabh

In fact, during an interview with Sucharita Tyagi on her YouTube channel, abhishek revealed that during his college days, he was teased by calling him "Deewar ka Amitabh". Calling himself an 'OG' fan of amitabh bachchan, abhishek banerjee said that his teachers used to compare him to the legendary actor because of his body language. The actor said, "My walk was like that. teachers used to tell me, 'Bhai, what are you, roaming around like Deewar ka Amitabh.'

Signed 'Section 84' as soon as he heard Big B's name

In an interview with PTI, abhishek banerjee said that when amitabh bachchan first came to the sets of Section 84, he recorded Big's entry. He said, "That walk took me back to the old days of all those films... dialogues and action scenes flashed before my eyes. That was an institution. Everyone wants to work with him.”

Abhishek Banerjee’s love for amitabh bachchan was such that he didn’t take even a minute to sign Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84. Recalling the call when the film was offered to him, Abhishek said, “He called me and said, ‘Yeh film Mr. Bachchan ke saath hai’ and I said, ‘Yes’. I didn’t listen to the next two lines. He was like, ‘Arre, first listen to what kind of film…’ I said, ‘No need’. Ribhu Dasgupta has imagined me in a character that is almost like Bachchan in front of Mr Bachchan. That was a big thing for me.”
