Nani Reveals How amitabh Bachchan's Agneepath Inspired Him To Become A Director

Organic Star nani, who is adored by his followers for his genuine performances, is getting ready for the release of his next movie, "Saripodhaa Sanivaaram," which is also known as "Surya's Saturday" in Hindi. During a recent interview with PinkVilla, nani revealed an intriguing detail about how amitabh Bachchan's classic film "Agneepath" served as a major motivation for him to become a filmmaker.

Nani was questioned about his background and what first inspired him to become a director of motion pictures during a master class led by Himesh Mankad. Thinking back on his early goals, nani said, "I was inspired by different directors at different times." My greatest inspiration is undoubtedly amitabh bachchan, sir. My primary motivation for wanting to direct a movie was Agneepath. The movie, I've heard, didn't do well when it first came out, but I believe it redefined heroism. Such as how a well-known actor can inhabit his part and how the standard formula may be changed to create a completely captivating narrative.

This scene, he said, was a tribute to the impact ‘Agneepath’ had on him, “Even in the first script I have written as an assistant director, which I wanted to make, in the opening titles, there is a sequence that happens outside a tea shop and there is a tv inside and in the tv, the Agneepath scene will be happening. ‘Yahan pe jungle ka kaanoon chalta hai, maalum hai. Choohe ko saanp kha jaati hai, saap ko..’ (Here, the jungle’s rules are obeyed, you know. A snake eats a rat, and the snake..), something. That’s a long monologue. The voice keeps fading out as the title keeps rolling, but in amitabh Bachchan’s voice. I wanted to start my career like this as a director. So there is a lot of influence,” he shared.
