“@diamirzaofficial aka Reena do you think the stars will align for us again? Maybe another ‘Zara Zara’ moment?” In response, dia mirza reported the story and replied, "Only If ‘Sach Keh Raha Hai Deewana.’” This playful banter between the two stars was noticed by eagle-eyed fans who have their theories about the sequel.

The film was a remake of the director's own tamil film 'Minnale' which was also released in the same year and starred Madhavan. The film marked Dia Mirza'a's Tamil debut as well.

'RHTDM' revolves around the love story of Maddy ( Madhav Shastri played by R Madhavan) and reena Malhotra( Dia Mirza). In the film, reena is set to get engaged to Rajeev 'Sam' Samra( Saif ali Khan), who is a young man settled in the US and is Maddy's former college rival.
