Rings of power star charlie Vickers Shares Story About Meeting Virat Kohli

Charlie Vickers, known for his role in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, recently revealed in an interview with News18 Showsha that indian cricketer virat kohli is his favorite player outside the Australian team. Vickers, an avid cricket fan, recounted a memorable but nerve-wracking encounter with kohli at a hotel in Auckland. Although he crossed paths with the cricket star, he was too nervous to approach him.

Vickers also discussed his connection to bollywood, which he associates with Australian cricketer Brett Lee. Vickers mentioned that collaborating with indian singer asha bhosle provided him with some insight into bollywood, though he hasn't had the chance to delve deeply into indian cinema. Lee’s involvement in bollywood music is Vickers' main link to the industry.

During the promotion of the first season of The Rings of Power, the cast visited india, but Vickers was unable to join them. He expressed that the cast members who did go spoke highly of their experience in Mumbai.

In the same interview, co-star Charles Edwards, who had visited india in 2022, suggested that Vickers should experience the lavish lunch prepared by the chefs at the taj mahal Hotel, which Edwards highly recommended. Edwards recalled the special meal and suggested Vickers contact the hotel to arrange a similar experience.
