A few actresses have accused famous actors, directors, and producers of sexual harassment in the malayalam film industry. Actor Mohanlal, the president of malayalam Nadigar Sangam, has resigned from his post after allegations of sexual harassment surfaced in the malayalam film industry.

The hema Commission was set up to investigate allegations of sexual harassment of actresses in the malayalam film industry. The commission recently released a report, and it was found that the sexual harassment of many actresses was true.

Following this, a few actresses have accused famous actors, directors, and producers of sexual harassment, which caused a great stir in the malayalam film world.

Mohanlal, the president of Nadigar Sangam, and 17  other office-bearers of the Amma Sangam have resigned from their posts to discuss the sexual harassment allegations against malayalam actors.

Sexual assault allegations against prominent members of the malayalam cinema industry surfaced after the Justice hema Committee report was made public last week. The report was filed to the kerala government in 2019 but was later forgotten. It contains several horrifying accounts of torture.
 
This month, it was made public following the resolution of legal challenges by members of the film business.
 
Several women who have lodged complaints against prominent malayalam actors and filmmakers, such as actor Baburaj, who served as the AMMA Joint Secretary prior to his resignation, have been interviewed by NDTV.
