Naga chaitanya Addresses Speculations About His 2nd Wedding to Sobhita Dhulipala

Naga chaitanya stirred up social media on tuesday when a video of him dressed as a groom circulated online, leading fans to speculate about his impending wedding. The actor, who recently got engaged to sobhita dhulipala, clarified that the buzz was related to the launch of a wedding collection for a clothing brand, not his actual marriage.

At the event, chaitanya playfully remarked, “Maybe you could think it’s a countdown for my marriage,” but he did not disclose any details about the wedding date or venue.

When asked if his groom's attire was a rehearsal for his future wedding, chaitanya hinted it might be, yet he remained reserved about specifics. He did, however, share his vision for the wedding, stating, “Marriage is about the people who mean a lot to me. It doesn’t have to be a grand affair, but it should respect our cultures and traditions.”

Regarding the date and location of the wedding, chaitanya mentioned that nothing has been finalized. He and sobhita dhulipala got engaged on august 8 in a private ceremony at Chaitanya’s residence. The couple announced their engagement with a poetic quote: “What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? But in love our hearts are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting.” This verse from Kurunthogai, translated by A.K. Ramanujan, beautifully expresses their love.

Naga Chaitanya’s father, nagarjuna Akkineni, also welcomed Sobhita into the family through a social media post. In an earlier interview, nagarjuna explained that the engagement date was chosen based on its auspiciousness, with both families consulting the Nakshatras to select august 8 as a significant day.

Chaitanya was previously married to actress samantha Ruth Prabhu; they tied the knot in 2017 and divorced amicably in 2021.
