Nani's Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Set for OTT Release on Netflix

South indian star Nani's latest film, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, which premiered in theaters on august 29, has been well-received by both audiences and critics, particularly praised for its performances and music. The film's OTT release is eagerly anticipated, and recent reports reveal that Netflix has secured the streaming rights for the movie. While the exact date for the streaming debut has not yet been announced by either Netflix or the film's makers, the news has already generated significant buzz.

Additionally, the television broadcasting rights for Saripodhaa Sanivaaram have been acquired by Zee Telugu.

The film centers on Surya, a character who has promised his mother to control his anger for six days of the week, reserving it only for Saturdays to address those who deserve it. His resolve is tested when he crosses paths with a corrupt police officer, CI Daya, leading him on a quest for justice.

Directed and written by vivek Athreya, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram features nani in the lead role alongside S J Suryah, priyanka Mohanan, Abhirami, Aditi Balan, P Sai Kumar, and murali Sharma. Produced by D v v Danayya under the dvv entertainment banner, the film has a budget of Rs 90 crore. The music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, with murali G handling cinematography and Karthika srinivas responsible for editing.

Nani's previous film, Hi Nanna, a romantic drama released in 2023, was directed and written by Shouryuv. It featured nani, Mrunal Thakur, and kiara Khanna, with supporting roles by Jayaram, Nassar, priyadarshi Pulikonda, and others. The film was produced by Mohan Cherukuri, Dr Vijender reddy Teegala, and Murthy K S under the Vyra Entertainments banner.
