Kutty padmini said, "We spoke about the hema committee report and the events that are happening after it. "I don't think any of the wrongdoers are scared of all this. Besides, I don't know how the women involved are going to prove it. Five years ago, a committee was formed in tamil cinema. Revathi, Rohini, and me and Many senior actresses have been asked to be in charge. But, after that, there hasn't been a single meeting till today." Actress Kutty padmini started speaking openly.

She continued, "  Is casting couch happening only in cinema..? From school to sports, this problem is everywhere. There is also this problem in the serial. I have never let the women who worked in my serial get caught on the casting couch. They all have my mobile number.  If someone makes a wrong approach to them, they will call me immediately. I'll pick up the phone in the middle of the night. So,  there was no need for them to agree to the adjustment asked by some director.

But  to show how much casting couch has gone on the small screen today, I will tell you what happened to me a few years ago. I was approached to make a historical serial on a leading channel. I spent Rs 50 lakh for the shooting. An important person from the channel said that we can meet in a pub. I've never been to a pub before. Nevertheless, I went out of courtesy at his invitation. We like the heroine of your serial very much.  He asked us to adjust.

"I'm the mother of three girls. I said, 'I can't do this.' After that, they refused to telecast the serial saying that there was a flaw in it. I am incurring a loss of  Rs 50  lakh. That's not all... Till date, the same people are in charge of that channel, so they have prevented me from getting another chance. When I went to work in hindi on the same channel, they stopped me from hanging up the phone," he said.

"In our patriarchal country, it is impossible to eradicate it. They will only be scared if this crime is equated with sexual assault and a law is passed against it and severe punishment is given. Murderers and rapists leave a trail. But in that case, you don't get anything like that. Because this is organized sexual assault."
