Salman Khan Resumes Shoot for "Sikandar" in mumbai Despite Rib Injury

Salman Khan is making headlines for his upcoming action drama, Sikandar, where he stars alongside rashmika Mandanna. The film, set to be released next Eid, is currently in production. Despite a recent rib injury, salman has resumed shooting for the movie.

According to Pinkvilla, the film's team is working on an elaborate set designed to depict Dharavi and Matunga, costing approximately Rs 15 crore. The current shooting schedule will last 45 days before the crew moves to a palace in hyderabad for the next phase of filming. salman is continuing with his role, carefully managing his performance despite the injury.

Salman’s character in Sikandar is described as arrogant and embodying the essence of a ‘Sikandar,’ coming from royal lineage and displaying traits of anger. This role marks a return to a 'bad boy' persona similar to his character in a subplot of Sultan, which was well-received by fans.

Recently, salman was seen at an event in mumbai, where videos of him struggling to rise from his seat due to his rib injury went viral. Despite his discomfort, he attended the event and greeted fellow attendees, including Sonali Bendre.

Sikandar also marks AR Murugadoss’s highly anticipated return to hindi cinema after an eight-year break since akira (2016). The film reunites salman khan with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, known for their successful collaborations on hits like Kick, Judwaa, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
