Upendra's Intense Look as Kaleesha in Rajinikanth's Coolie Revealed

The anticipation for Rajinikanth's upcoming action thriller Coolie, directed by lokesh kanagaraj, has reached new heights with the release of kannada actor Upendra's fierce look as Kaleesha. The film, which is already generating buzz, has now unveiled Upendra's character through a striking new poster.

In the poster, upendra is dressed in an all-black outfit, adorned with red thread accessories and a black rosary. His intense appearance is further highlighted by his signature hairstyle, thick beard, and a menacing golden hook-like weapon. The look suggests that upendra will play a complex, grey-shaded character in the film. upendra himself shared the poster on his official X handle, amplifying the excitement among fans.

Joining upendra in the cast is Sathyaraj, who will portray Rajasekar. This will mark Sathyaraj's reunion with Rajinikanth after their collaboration in the 1986 film Mr. Bharath. Upendra, who was last seen in the 2023 film Kabzaa, will also be featured in his own directorial venture, the surrealist action thriller UI.

The cast of Coolie includes previously announced stars such as Nagarjuna, shruti Haasan, and Soubin Shahir. The film is produced by kalanithi maran under the sun Pictures banner and began shooting in July. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with Girish Gangadharan handling cinematography, Philomin raj in charge of editing, and Anbariv overseeing the stunts.

Rajinikanth’s last appearance was in the Tamil-language sports action film Lal Salaam, directed by aishwarya Rajinikanth. The film featured vishnu vishal and vikranth in lead roles, with Rajinikanth appearing in an extended cameo.
