Saripodhaa Sanivaaram box office Day 5: Nani's Film Joins Rs 50 Crore Club

Actor Nani, known for his back-to-back hits "Dasara" and "Hi Nanna" last year, has returned with his highly anticipated film, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. Directed and written by vivek Athreya, the film also stars SJ Suryah and priyanka Mohan in key roles. Produced by D v v Danayya under DVV Entertainment, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is the most expensive film of Nani’s career, with a budget of Rs 90 crore.

Since its release on august 29, the film has seen impressive box office success. After four days, it grossed Rs 68.52 crore worldwide. On its opening day, it earned Rs 9 crore (net) in india and achieved a worldwide opening of Rs 24.11 crore. By the end of its first weekend, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram surpassed Rs 50 crore in global collections and is projected to reach the Rs 100 crore mark within the week. On its fifth day, the film added Rs 3.25 crore to its total, bringing its net collection to Rs 36.75 crore. The film’s telugu occupancy was 29.20% on Monday, september 2, with peak attendance in evening shows.

The film's strong performance is bolstered by the lack of new movie releases, enhancing its profitability. Netflix has reportedly acquired the wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital rights for Rs 45 crore, matching the film’s pre-release theatrical business valuation.

In North America, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has generated considerable interest, with advance bookings open in over 180 locations. The film has sold more than 2,900 tickets, grossing $60,157 (approximately Rs 49.98 lakh) and crossing the one million dollar mark at the North American box office.

The film follows surya (played by Nani), who combats injustice every Saturday. However, his mission becomes more challenging when he faces off against the corrupt Inspector R Dayanand, who is notorious for his brutality against innocent people.
