He worked with many big directors for 30 years and when he became a producer for the first time, the first film was made on loan.'
karan further said, 'When 'Dostana' became a hit, Papa was happy. But after that many of Papa's films flopped. He was most sad when 'Agneepath' flopped. I have seen him crying, sad all the time. Even people from the industry considered him a flop filmmaker and behaved badly with him. He was very sad about this. I can say that Papa did not get the respect he deserved. Whatever I have done till now is dedicated to my father.'

yash Johar was born on 6 september 1929 in Amritsar, punjab in a punjabi family. yash Johar married BR Chopra and yash Chopra's sister Hiroo Chopra. In 1979, yash Johar created dharma productions and made many films in it. yash Johar died on 26 june 2004, after which dharma productions is being managed by his son karan Johar.
