In a recent episode of the show, amitabh bachchan spoke quite openly while talking about his family and praised jaya bachchan for her commitment to the family while working. When contestant sumitra Dinesh asked Big B if Jaya ever complained that he could not spend time with her due to being busy shooting for KBC.
To this, Big B replied laughingly, "Oh what can I say? The family questions people ask me here...it hurts me a lot." amitabh then recalled his early days in the film industry, when he was shooting for three films simultaneously.
He recalled how he used to work in three different shifts, leaving him with very little time for his family. The actor said, "Many years passed and we came to the film industry. Then we started working. Our work used to be done in three shifts." Even his father, the late Harivansh Rai Bachchan, once told him that he was working very hard. Sharing what the actor's poet father had told him, he said, "Boley beta tum kaam bahut karte ho. Hum boley baauji paisa badi mushkil se milta hai." amitabh bachchan then praised his wife Jaya Bachchan's dedication to her family and giving her all to their children Shweta Bachchan and abhishek bachchan while they were growing up. He revealed that "Jaya was always supportive and never complained."
