Alia Bhatt Faces Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ex' on The Great indian Kapil Show

Alia Bhatt is set to kick off the first episode of The Great indian Kapil Show Season 2, and the promo reveals an amusing twist: she will meet one of Ranbir Kapoor’s exes. However, this isn’t one of his previous relationships before marrying Alia; it’s actually Gutthi, a character played by sunil Grover, whom Ranbir met on Kapil's shows in the past.

In the promo, kapil sharma informs alia that a special guest from Ranbir’s past is in the studio. “I want to tell you something today. There was a girl in Ranbir’s life,” Kapil says. Surprised, alia asks, “Oh, is it?” When Kapil suggests bringing the ex onto the show, she responds, “You’re going to call her here?” Kapil then invites Gutthi onstage, leaving alia in fits of laughter.

In addition to this fun segment, Kapil also welcomed karan johar and Vedang Raina to promote their upcoming film, Jigra. During the show, Kapil humorously asked karan about his relationship with alia, saying, “Karan sir, what do you see in Alia? A friend? A daughter? An aunt?” karan jokingly replied, “She is my first daughter,” adding that he’s part of whatsapp groups with only the mothers of Bollywood.

Regarding the new season, Kapil expressed gratitude for the audience's support, saying, “As promised, we didn’t take too long and are back with Season 2 in the blink of an eye. We are very thankful for the love we received for Season 1 of The Great indian Kapil Show from around the world. Our audiences have always treated us as part of their family, and we are grateful.”
