Devara: Part 1, starring jr ntr, has become one of the most highly anticipated releases in the South indian film industry. Directed by koratala siva, the telugu film is set to hit theaters worldwide on september 27. Even before its release, the film has created a significant buzz, having already amassed over ₹60 crore in bookings.

According to Sacnilk.com, the movie has crossed the ₹60 crore mark in bookings for its first-day shows. Out of this total, the film has earned ₹42.86 crore from india alone. Impressively, Devara has sold 10 lakh tickets for telugu 2D shows and over 40,000 tickets for hindi 2D screenings. Andhra Pradesh and telangana have contributed the highest earnings, with collections of ₹16.86 crore and ₹17.2 crore, respectively.

Part 1 extends beyond india, with the film slated for a global release. In the US market, it has already surpassed the $2.5 million mark in pre-sales. This milestone was shared on social media by Prathyangira Cinemas, the film's distributor in North America. They posted, “North America can’t contain the fury of #Devara & The red Sea is turning into a full-blown tsunami…$2.5 MILLION+ Premieres Pre-sales and the heat is rising! #DevaraUSA by @PrathyangiraUS & @Hamsinient."

Before its worldwide debut, Devara: Part 1 will have its premiere at Beyond Fest in Los Angeles on september 26. Commenting on the premiere, jr ntr said, “It’s so deeply rooted with all the extravaganza and dance moves you loved in RRR. So, you will enjoy every little thing.”
