Dev anand heart broke even before proposal!!!

Dev anand was a bollywood superstar. The audience was crazy about the actor's strong acting as well as his looks. Dev anand fell in love with Zeenat

In this film, Zeenat played the role of Dev Anand's sister. However, the actor-director actually fell in love with Zeenat during the making of this film. Dev anand confessed this in his autobiography. He said, "Suddenly, one day I felt that I was madly in love with Zeenat? And I wanted to tell her so! Dev Anand's dreams were shattered

He had confessed that he had called Zeenat and they decided to go to the Taj after attending a party together. Dev anand has written in his autobiography 'Romancing with Life' that raj kapoor had also attended that party and he had put his arms around Zeenat's neck. anand further hinted that there was something between Zeenat and raj kapoor that made him angry. Dev wrote that Kapoor in a drunken state told the 'Satyam shivam Sundaram' actress, 'You are breaking your promise that you will always appear in a white sari to me.' After this, Dev anand confessed to being heartbroken and said, "There was more embarrassment written on her face, and Zeenat was no longer the same Zeenat for me, my heart broke into pieces... This meeting had no meaning in my mind. I quietly left from there."
