Salman Khan May Join Shah Rukh Khan at IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi

The international Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards are known for their star power, and this year’s event in Abu Dhabi might see a special reunion between salman khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Andrea Timmins, co-founder of IIFA, hinted at the possibility of salman joining Shah Rukh on stage, saying, “Salman is family, and we’ve known each other for over 30 years. He’s been part of every IIFA show, and we definitely miss him. It has always been my dream to get salman and Shah Rukh together on the IIFA stage.”

However, Timmins noted that due to Salman’s busy schedule with bigg boss and filming for his upcoming movie Sikandar, his attendance is uncertain. Yet, there’s still hope he might surprise fans on the 28th.

Last year, salman celebrated 21 years with IIFA, taking the spotlight as the host in 2022 and performing as well. This year, he is unable to fully commit due to his commitments, but Timmins’ comments have sparked speculation about a surprise appearance.

The IIFA Awards 2024 will be held from september 27 to 29 at the Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, with Shah Rukh Khan co-hosting alongside karan Johar. The duo's playful banter during a recent press conference has already excited fans, with Shah Rukh teasing karan about his hosting duties.

Performances by stars like shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor, and the legendary rekha are also lined up, ensuring an entertaining weekend. Fans eagerly await to see if salman will indeed join Shah Rukh on stage.

Additionally, Shah Rukh is gearing up for his upcoming film King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, which marks his first on-screen collaboration with his daughter, Suhana Khan—an eagerly anticipated aspect of the film.
