On this matter, nidhi Dutta issued a statement on behalf of JP Dutta and JP Films through a press release on X. In this, he has denied the allegations of financial misconduct leveled by Bharat Shah against JP Dutta regarding 'Border'. JP Films has called the allegations false, baseless and made with the intention of creating public sensation.
The press release reads, 'The public notice issued by Little & Company (Advocate and Solicitor) on behalf of its clients Bharat Shah and Bina Bharat Shah in the film trade journals, in which allegations have been made against JP Dutta regarding the accounts of the film Border, are false.' He wrote that these allegations are absolutely baseless which have been made to get public attention.
