Anurag told, 'There was a great actor named rajpal yadav who came to Mumbai. But he was leaving the city tired and depressed. There was an actor named Ashraf Ulhaq in Black Friday, who has now passed away. He asked me if you can talk to rajpal yadav and give him hope. Upon our meeting at the train station, nawazuddin siddiqui had his suitcase in his arms. I met him in this manner.

Nawazuddin assumed a waiter's role.

Anurag Kashyap remembered telling rajpal yadav that he was casting for the movie Shool and that he would be playing a part in it. rajpal yadav consented to play a single scene. He was impersonating a porter.
