Saif ali Khan Explains Why He Chose Acting Over Cricket

When host kapil sharma asked Saif why he opted for acting instead of following in his father Mansoor ali Khan Pataudi's footsteps as a cricketer, Saif reflected on the influence of his family and his personal inclinations.

Saif mentioned that people often suggested he inherited his cricketing talent from his mother, hinting at a genetic legacy from the Tagore family. However, he acknowledged that he lacked the mental focus required for cricket during his youth, stating that the sport didn't resonate with him. He expressed a deep love for acting, affirming that it was the right choice for him.

When asked about his son Ibrahim ali Khan and whether he seeks career advice, Saif noted that Ibrahim is yet to make his bollywood debut and doesn’t frequently ask for guidance. In contrast, his daughter ali KHAN' target='_blank' title='sara ali khan-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>sara ali khan often seeks his input on her scenes. Saif remarked, “She frequently approaches me for feedback, and perhaps in the future, Ibrahim will do the same.”

In addition to his reflections, Saif is currently receiving praise for his role in Devara, which was released on september 27 and marks his telugu film debut. He is also set to portray a villain in the upcoming film Spirit, directed by sandeep Reddy Vanga, alongside Kareena Kapoor, marking their sixth collaboration together. Their previous films include LOC Kargil, Omkara, Tashan, Kurbaan, and Agent Vinod.
