Sivakarthikeyan Responds to Being Called the Next Thalapathy Vijay

Sivakarthikeyan is a prominent figure in South indian cinema, known for his successful films and dedicated fanbase. In a recent media interaction, he was compared to Thalapathy Vijay, and his thoughtful response has resonated with fans.

While promoting his upcoming film Amaran in Malaysia, Sivakarthikeyan faced chants of “Next Thalapathy” from the audience. He expressed his admiration for Vijay and director Venkat Prabhu, emphasizing that tamil cinema can only have one Thalapathy, Thala, Superstar, and Ulaganayagan. He conveyed that while he aspires to achieve the same level of success as his predecessors, he does not wish to take their places.

Sivakarthikeyan made a memorable appearance in the blockbuster GOAT, where he plays a pivotal role in the climax. In his scene, Vijay’s character, Gandhi, entrusts him with a gun to monitor a villain held captive in a washroom before heading out to save others.

His upcoming film Amaran, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and co-written with Stefan Ritcher, is a biographical action drama. The cast includes Sai Pallavi, bhuvan Arora, rahul Bose, and others.
