Vikram who is presently enjoying the success of his most recent film, "Thangalaan," has disclosed the physical toll that his roles have had on him. The actor recently came clean about how, after shooting the highly regarded movie "Kasi," he momentarily lost his vision. "Kasi," the 2001 film, is the tamil adaptation of the highly regarded malayalam movie "Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum."
In the movie, vikram portrayed a blind man. The actor said he couldn't see well for two to three months after filming in an interview with Pinkvilla. He disclosed that this ailment resulted from the fact that he maintained his eyelids lifted during the filming process in order to authentically depict his character's blindness. According to Vikram, the strain increased his chance of getting a squint eye. In addition to Kavya Madhavan, Kaveri, Manivannan, and Thalaivasal Vijay in the key parts, Vinayan directed the film "Kasi."
