At the same time, now the producer of the film, ramesh taurani, has also confirmed this news. Taurani, founder of production house Tips Films, said that Saif will be seen leading the team of actors in 'Race 4'.
Speaking to PTI, the producer of the film, ramesh taurani, confirmed that the film will go on the floor in 2025. He said, 'Saif will be back in the Race franchise, and we are excited to have him on board. He has done a great job in the first two films.' Sharing an update about the film, Taurani said, 'The film will have many actors and we are finalizing the script and cast.'
Taurani added, 'We haven't even finalized the director. We will officially announce it next year before the shooting of the film begins.' The first two films of the franchise were directed by Abbas-Mustan, while the third installment was directed by Remo D'Souza. Earlier, there were reports that nikkhil advani had been roped in to direct the film. However, Taurani's statement makes it clear that the director for 'Race 4' is yet to be finalized.
Known for its high-octane action and complex plot, the franchise began with the 2008 film 'Race', starring ali KHAN' target='_blank' title='saif ali khan-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>saif ali khan and akshaye khanna as rival brothers. The film also featured bipasha basu and katrina Kaif.
Saif returned for the film's 2013 sequel 'Race 2', which starred john abraham opposite deepika padukone in the villainous role. Both films were commercially successful and received positive reviews from critics. At the same time, if media reports are to be believed, siddharth Malhotra has also been signed for 'Race 4'. However, this news has not been officially confirmed yet.
