Suriya shared the exciting news on Sunday, october 6, along with a heartfelt post and a series of photos featuring the cast and crew, including a monochrome snapshot with Subbaraj. In his post, Suriya expressed his admiration for the director, calling him a "brother for life."
Suriya wrote in his caption, celebrating the end of the filming journey "A wholesome, happy shoot got done across several locations. Lots of memories with the super-talented cast and crew. I made a brother for life karthik subbaraj. Thank you and our team for making Suriya44 a memorable experience". The film, which began production in june 2024, has generated significant anticipation. Announced earlier in March, Suriya 44 marks the first collaboration between Suriya and karthik Subbaraj. The film is co-produced by Subbaraj under his banner, Stone Bench Films, alongside Suriya's 2D Entertainment.
