Recently, the actress came to Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast. During the conversation, she recalled that director Anvita Dutt Guptan often apologized to her after filming rape scenes. She said, 'The rape scenes were very intense. While talking about the scene, it feels like, 'It's normal. It will happen.' But when you live that moment in that scene, a different level of fear comes. As an actor, you know that you can't run away from it.'

Trupti further said, 'It was very scary and awkward, but I have to praise rahul Bose, who made me feel very comfortable. As soon as the scene was cut, he would change the topic or start playing games with me. So, I was not thinking about what was happening in the scene. My director would come and sit next to me after every scene and cry. She would apologize and say, 'Forgive me, I put you through all this, you have to endure all this, but it's just for the film.'

Trupti said that whenever she heard the story of bulbul, she would get goosebumps. She said, 'When I was selected, everyone said 'don't do it' because 'Laila Majnu' had released and it was not a hit. Many times, I was heartbroken. So, I started doing catalog shoots for money. I was like 'Life is back to normal'. I started auditioning again and during this time the audition for bulbul came.'

Trupti said during the conversation that she did not want to play a role at the age of 23, in which she was wearing a saree and heavy jewelry, but still, she decided to give the audition and finally, she was selected. After this, she heard the story and said yes to it.
