Bollywood actress shilpa shetty and her husband raj Kundra have approached the bombay high court in the money laundering case. shilpa shetty and her husband raj Kundra have approached the bombay high court challenging the notice to vacate the same property after their residential premises in Juhu area of mumbai and farm house near Pavana Lake were temporarily seized by the ED in the alleged crypto asset Ponzi scheme case.

A petition was filed today before the bench of Justice Revati Mohite-Dere and prithviraj Chavan through senior advocate prashant Patil, after which the court has issued notice to the ED and kept the matter for hearing on thursday afternoon.

In this petition, Kundra has sought an order to protect his rights and the shelter of his family against the arbitrary action of the ED to issue an eviction notice on september 27, 2024. In which Kundra and his wife have been directed to vacate their property residential house in mumbai and farm house in pune within 10 days. ED had given them an eviction notice on 3 October.

Let us tell you that this action is going on since the year 2018, when ED registered a case against amit Bhardwaj in the alleged crypto assets Ponzi scheme. In which it is alleged that shilpa shetty and raj Kundra, along with other co-accused, defrauded investors of more than Rs 6 crore in the form of bitcoin. The petition states that the couple is cooperating with the ED in this case and they have responded to all the summons sent to them by the ED between the years 2018 to 2024.
