What did director anees bazmee say?
In a recent interview, director anees bazmee has said, "People will be surprised and think, 'Oh my God!' We have tried to make a good and beautiful film. For this, we have shot two different endings. Even the people in the production team don't know which ending I am going to choose.'' The trailer shows kartik aaryan back as Rooh baba, along with the old Manjulika vidya balan who clashes with Rooh Baba. The cast also includes seasoned actors like Tripti Dimri, madhuri Dixit, rajpal yadav as well as Sanjay Mishra.
Why were two climaxes shot?
Regarding the cast, the director said that he has only seen the film till the pre-climax. He says, "Only me and three other members of the team know about the original ending. We have shot two climaxes, and the team also did not know why it was done. Initially, we shot the final climax, but later I called the team again and said, 'Maja nahi aa raha hai, phir se karenge' (It is not fun, we will do it again). The team felt it was necessary, but actually it was just to keep the ending a secret from them." director anees bazmee did not give the last 15 pages of the script to the actors as he wanted to create suspense for both the audience and the actors. He only allowed a small group of crew to be on the set while shooting both the endings.
