Brother Eric Steve D'Souza, who was the educator of bollywood superstar shahrukh khan, has passed away. Brother Eric Steve taught shahrukh khan at St. Columbus school in New Delhi. He breathed his last in goa on sunday at 1.20 pm. Many times, Shahrukh was appealed on social media to meet his ailing teacher. But this could not happen and Brother Eric Steve said goodbye to the world.
Congress leader Sajarita Latphlang had posted a post on social media in june this year. In this, she had appealed to shahrukh khan to meet his teacher Brother Eric Steve D'Souza. In the post, she had mentioned Brother Eric's illness and wrote, 'It seems that this is my last appeal, my last attempt to reach shahrukh khan to request his presence in favor of Brother Eric S D'Souza.'
Had given news of illness earlier
Sajarita Latphlang further wrote- 'Every day, Brother's health is getting worse, his condition is deteriorating with each passing moment. Mumbai, just an hour away by flight, hopes to console his ailing heart. DASU has left an indelible mark on all our lives, shaping us into what we are today through its unwavering commitment to instilling values. Your visit will mean the world to them, a ray of hope in their darkest hours.'
chief minister paid tribute
Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma has condoled the death of Brother Eric Steve. Posting on x, he wrote- 'With great sadness, I came to know about the death of Brother Eric Steve D'Souza, an exceptional teacher famous for his dedication to education and compassion. As a respected member of the Christian Brothers Congregation, Brother D'Souza spent many years at St. Edmund's school in Shillong, leaving an indelible legacy.'
