The film is now gearing up for its OTT debut, which is expected on november 8, 2024, in multiple languages as per a report in news 18.

Despite the mixed reception, 'Devara Part 1has been a major box office success, reportedly surpassing Rs 400 crore globally. The film, which features janhvi kapoor, Prakash Raj, and meka srikanth in significant roles, is produced by ntr arts and Yuvasudha Arts.


Devara Part 1 was highly anticipated among Jr NTR's projects. However, even with its impressive box office performance, it did not leave a lasting impact on audiences.

In an interview, jr ntr shared his thoughts on this phenomenon, stating, “We, as an audience, have become very negative these days. We are not able to enjoy a film innocently anymore.” He reflected on how children watch movies without overanalyzing them, expressing a desire for adults to regain that innocence.


Jr ntr also pondered why viewers have become so critical and analytical, suggesting that increased exposure to cinema might be a contributing factor.

Looking ahead, Jr ntr is excited about his upcoming film 'War 2', directed by Ayan Mukerji, which will also star hrithik roshan and kiara advani in key roles. The film is currently in production and is slated for release on august 14, 2025. However, there are no details available about its plot at this time. 'War 2is being produced by yash Raj Films.
