Film actress and former Rampur mp Jaya Prada has got a big relief from Rampur court today. Special mp MLA court of Rampur has acquitted Jaya Prada due to lack of evidence. Jaya Prada was also present in the court when the verdict was pronounced. This case of violation of code of conduct was registered in Swar police station during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
She was accused of inaugurating a road during the code of conduct. Its video also went viral. The hearing of this case was going on in Rampur MP-MLA Court. On Wednesday, the court acquitted Jaya Prada in the code of conduct violation case due to lack of evidence. Jaya Prada was also present in the court during the hearing, after which the court has given this verdict. Earlier, Jaya Prada has been acquitted in another case of code of conduct violation.
Jaya Prada said - acquitted by the prayers of the people
In 2019 itself, a case was registered against her in Kemri police station for giving an objectionable speech against SP leader Azam Khan. In this, the court acquitted her due to lack of witness. After which, now the court has given relief to Jaya Prada in the second code of conduct violation case as well. After being acquitted by the court, Jaya Prada said that I thank the court. I assure that as long as I am alive, I will not do anything wrong. I was not able to come to the court due to ill health.
Jaya Prada said that today I am acquitted by the prayers of the people of Rampur and those who were stopping me from coming to Rampur. Those who were plotting against me, did not consider me capable of contesting elections. I will keep coming to Rampur again and again, Rampur is my second home, I will keep working for the love of the people and next time I will contest elections from here again. The code of conduct charge that was leveled against me in 2019. That video was fake, no charges were proved against me. The court has acquitted me today, acquitting me. I respect the court.
