The untitled film will be released in theaters on march 14, 2025. The film is inspired by real events and based on raghu Palt and pushpa Palt's book 'The Case That Shook the Empire'. Let us tell you that 'The Case That Shook the Empire' revolves around the defamation suit initiated by Michael O'Dwyer, Lieutenant governor of punjab at the time of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, against Chettur Shankaran Nair, a former member of the Viceroy's Executive Council. C. Shankaran Nair was an indian lawyer, politician, and reformer who played a key role in the country's freedom struggle. The upcoming courtroom drama directed by karan Singh Tyagi focuses on akshay kumar, who will be seen playing a lawyer in the pre-independence era film.

The film is funded by karan johar and apoorva Mehta's dharma productions, Akshay Kumar's home production Cape of Good Films, and Leo media Collective. The project will feature akshay kumar, madhavan, and ananya together.
