According to past reports, the makers are using Artificial intelligence to dub Suriya’s voice in all the languages. Initially, the film was scheduled to release on october 10. The date was rescheduled to november 14. Speaking about Kanguva’s success, producer KE Gnanavel raja confidently stated that this film will perform massively at the box office and break records. In a recent interview, the producer was asked whether Kanguva has the potential to enter the Rs 1000 crore club of indian cinema. Responding to the question, KE Gnanavelraja said, “I expect Kanguva to record a box-office collection of Rs 2000 crore, so why are you limiting it to Rs 1000 crore?” Addressing the recent allegation regarding production companies manipulating the box office collections, the producer mentioned that Kanguva’s box office collection details will be transparent.
Meanwhile Siva mentioned that when he narrated the story to ajith kumar, he encouraged Siva to continue with the film. Siva said, “The first person I narrated the story of Kanguva was ajith (Kumar). After hearing the story, he wished me the best and encouraged me to make the film successfully.” The director also added that ajith played an important role in boosting his confidence to make the Kanguva in such a grand way.
Moreover the film finely blends the story of an ancient warrior, who is fighting to save his people and a modern-day police officer. To be released in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, English, French and Spanish, Kanguva features popular stars like Disha Patani, bobby Deol, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, yogi Babu, KS Ravikumar, Harish Uthaman, Kovai Sarala, vasundhara kashyap and Anandraj. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while the cinematography department is handled by Vetri Palanisamy.
