alia Bhatt's first release of the year 2024 is 'Jigra'. There were a lot of expectations from this jail-breaker drama but the film was rejected by the audience on the very first day and its opening was very dull. It has been a week since the film was released and its box office report is very disappointing. Let us know here how much 'Jigra' has collected on the seventh day of its release i.e. the first Thursday?
How much did 'Jigra' collect on the 7th day of its release?
The star cast had promoted 'Jigra' a lot before its release. After the trailer of the film, it seemed that it would have a blockbuster opening at the box office. The interesting thing is that it was the biggest hindi film in the dussehra release but it remained the second choice for the audience throughout the week. Although alia Bhatt's action scenes in 'Jigra' are being praised a lot, the story of the film has failed to pull the audience to the theaters and with this, the collection of this film from the first day of release to the first week has been quite disappointing.
Talking about the earnings of the film, 'Jigra' has earned 4.55 crores on the first day of release, 6.55 crores on the second day, 5.5 crores on the third day, 1.65 crores on the fourth day, 1.6 crores on the fifth day and 1.35 crores on the sixth day. Now the initial figures of the film's earnings on the seventh day of release have come. According to the early trend report of Sacnilk, 'Jigra' has earned 1.25 crores on the 7th day of release. With this, the total collection of 'Jigra' in seven days has now become Rs 22.45 crores.
Globally, 'Jigra' has earned well
'Jigra' has not performed well at the box office in india but the film has earned well overseas. Internationally, the jailbreak-drama has done a good business of around 1.75 million in the first week, but it is still less than expected from alia Bhatt's film. Looking at the pace of the film's earnings, it is expected to be limited to a lifetime collection of 30 to 33 crores in India.
