Sender of Death Threat Issues Apology, Acknowledges Error In the wake of a whatsapp message directed at the mumbai Traffic police, which demanded a sum of Rs. 5 crore to resolve the ongoing conflict between salman khan and lawrence Bishnoi, the individual responsible has since expressed remorse. Bollywood actor salman khan has faced persistent threats following the tragic death of his close associate, baba Siddique.
Just days after the former minister was fatally shot in Bandra, the mumbai Traffic police received a threatening message on october 18, which demanded a payment of Rs. 5 crore from Khan. Recently, however, the same number sent a follow-up message, this time containing an apology. In light of Baba Siddique's murder, Salman Khan's security measures were significantly enhanced due to his close ties with the former mla and his previous encounters with the lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Following the initial threatening message, which warned, “Do not take this lightly. If Salman Khan wishes to remain safe and resolve the conflict with lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay 5 crore. Failure to comply will result in consequences worse than those faced by baba Siddique,” additional security protocols were implemented. This included heightened security at both his Panvel farmhouse and his residence in Bandra, as well as the acquisition of a Rs. 2 crore bulletproof SUV. The actor was also assigned Y+ security in response to the threat. The latest communication from the sender included an apology for the previous threatening message, which he claimed was sent inadvertently.
Although the individual's identity remains unknown, police investigations have traced the original message back to Jharkhand, prompting the mumbai police to dispatch a team for further inquiry.
