Kiran was previously married to businessman gautam Berry. kiran and gautam had a son, Sikandar. Their marriage did not last long and they got divorced. Sikandar was four years old when Anupam and kiran married each other. After marriage, Anupam adopted kiran Kher's son Sikandar and gave him his surname.
