Actor Diljit Kaur's personal life has been in turmoil for the last few months. Recently, she has taken separation from Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel. Meanwhile, she has given statements about her ex-husband and actor Shalin Bhanot. She has alleged that when son Jaden was going through a difficult time in his life, Shalin did not stand by him at that time.
Diljit has alleged that Shalin did not have any contact with the son for almost a year. During an interview given to Galatta India, Shalin has made these allegations against her ex-husband.
'Did not want to know what happened in Kenya'
Diljit said - More than a year has passed, there was no contact with the ex. He never made any effort, so there was no conversation between us. I tried to live with him in a cordial manner for 9 years. Whenever he wanted to meet my son, I never refused. I used to happily say yes because I thought it would be good for my son as well.
Diljit said that one thing always bothers me that why Shalin never tried to know what happened to me and my son in Kenya. I think he had my number but he never tried to know.
Shaleen suddenly disappeared
During the interview, when Diljit was asked whether Shalin did not try to meet his son. In response to this, Shalin said- Don't you want to know about your son's well-being? It was always the same pattern that whenever he wanted to meet, he used to contact his son. I had also talked to Nikhil on this issue. I had also told him that you can come to Kenya, you can stay with us, it will be good for our son. He had also said yes. And after that he disappeared.
