Reportedly fans of kgf star yash have much to look forward to, with the actor breaking his silence on two highly anticipated projects: kgf 3 and his role as Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. In a candid interview with The hollywood Reporter India, yash discussed the future of the kgf franchise and confirmed his role in the upcoming epic film Ramayana.
While addressing the possibility of a third installment of kgf, yash reassured fans that kgf 3 is very much on the horizon. “KGF 3 will happen for sure, I promise. But I am focusing on these two projects [Toxic and Ramayana] right now,” yash said. He further elaborated that discussions with kgf director prasanth neel are ongoing, but the timing must be right. “We keep talking about it; we have an idea… it is massive, so it needs all our attention and focus,” he added.
Moreover yash said that they are not in a rush to capitalise on the franchise’s success but are instead focused on making the third film even more special for fans. “The audience has given us enough. We want to make a film they will be proud of,” yash said. He acknowledged the character of rocky Bhai has become a cult figure and wants to ensure the next installment lives up to that legacy. Apart from kgf 3, yash has confirmed he will be taking on a significant role in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, portraying the iconic villain Ravana. Ramayana will feature ranbir kapoor as Lord ram and sai pallavi as Sita, with pre-production already in full swing. A leaked picture of Ranbir and Sai in their costumes recently went viral, sparking further speculation about the film, which is expected to release in 2025.
