Hansal Mehta: Why did the director have to apologize as soon as The Buckingham Murders came on OTT? Know the real reason here.

The Buckingham Murders has come on Netflix. However, people watching it are criticizing the hindi dubbing of the film a lot. The director of the film has now also clarified this. Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer The Buckingham Murders has now come on OTT after theaters. It premiered on Netflix on november 8, 2024. However, as soon as it was released, it started getting criticized on social media due to poor dubbing.

A person on X (formerly Twitter) complained to hansal mehta about the poor hindi dubbing of the film, after which hansal mehta responded to that post and apologized, and promised that the original language version would soon be available on OTT. A user wrote on X, "I started watching The Buckingham Murders, but the hindi dubbing is so bad that I could not watch beyond a few minutes. Dear hansal mehta, was the film shot in English? Why is Netflix not showing us the original version? It feels very artificial to see all the british people speaking in Hindi."

Hansal Mehta responded to this and wrote, "The original language version will be uploaded in a few hours due to a technical error on Netflix India. Thank you for your patienceAnd yes, watching the dubbed version of the film can be quite disturbing. Sorry."

The film was originally released in two versions. One version of the film was Hinglish (with 80% of the dialogues in english and 20% in Hindi) and a completely dubbed hindi version. At the moment, only the dubbed version is currently made available on Netflix India.
