There was a time when she seriously considered quitting bollywood as she was bored with acting. But what kept her going was Dimple Kapadia's advice. However, Manisha did not like her advice at the time.

Manisha Koirala recently recalled the time when she was tired of acting and sought advice from dimple kapadia during an interview. She had told Dimple that she was "bored of acting". She said, "I remember this conversation with Dimple Ji. We were shooting for a film. I told her, 'I am bored of acting'.

Then Dimple explained to her and said, 'You should enjoy acting because it is not going to go on forever. And she gave me very good advice. But, at that time, I was thinking, 'What is she saying? Can't she understand that I am bored?' My mind was saying something else at that time." manisha koirala revealed that she was tired of the constant work, which is why she sought advice from Dimple Kapadia. She recalled, "I had a lot of work. I was doing a lot of films... Every morning I would wake up and sit for three hours for makeup, working in three different shifts for three different films. We used to work at least 15 hours a day. There was no holiday on Sunday. Six-day work was the norm at that time. You were expected to work 360 days a year. No holidays or breaks for years and I think it forced me and I was bored of it."
