bollywood actor prateik babbar has recently talked about his drug addiction and the fight to get rid of it. He has also put an end to the talks that Prateik started taking drugs after coming into the industry. He has also talked about the effect of drug addiction on his personal and professional life. During a recent interview with bollywood Bubble, Prateik talked about drug addiction and moving on from it. Prateik, who has proved his acting prowess in bollywood films like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Dhobi Ghat and Made in Heaven, talked about the misconception in which some people believed that he became addicted after coming into films.

Started drugs at the age of 12

Prateik said, "He started taking drugs when he was 12 and a half years old. I want to clarify that all this did not happen because of films. Unfortunately, I was brought up differently and my family's situation was a bit complicated. Because of that, I started taking drugs.''

Did not start drugs because of a lot of money

prateik babbar further said that it is not that I came into films and got a lot of money so I started taking drugs. I was into drugs since a long time. Prateik, son of late actress Smita Patil and actor raj Babbar, also said that the trauma from early experiences affects his relationships.

Prateik has moved beyond all this

Prateik said, "Drugs are related to his trauma, so until the trauma is over, it will affect his relationships and other things in life as well. But there comes a time when you have to work to make things right and I have been working on it for many years."

Prateik also talked about his fiancée and actress priya banerjee during this time. He told that whatever improvements he made in himself, priya supported him a lot. Prateek says that priya is helping him to become better in many ways. And they are supporting each other to move forward.
