Bollywood actress janhvi kapoor openly praised South star Nayanthara. She said that she is a courageous woman. On her instagram story, the 'Dhadak' actress was seen praising the recently released documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale'.
Sharing the Netflix post, Janhvi wrote, 'Nothing can be more inspiring than seeing an empowered woman become stronger.' The documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale premiered on november 18. It talks about the challenges Nayanthara faced in her career and personal life, including her love story with Vignesh Shivan, which blossomed on the sets of “Naanum Rowdy Dhaan”.
Jhanvi’s post comes amid the ongoing controversy between Nayanthara and Dhanush. On november 16, Nayanthara shared an open letter on her official Instagram account. In this post, she addressed her co-actor dhanush and revealed long-standing grievances. It talks about the strained relationship between the two.
Nayanthara lashed out at dhanush, writing, “As friendly and full of positivity he appears in public, in reality his nature is completely different. Nayanthara said that she should remove her mask and stop pretending.''
On november 16, the actress posted an open letter on instagram, in which she criticized dhanush and wrote that he has reached the "lowest level ever" after demanding compensation of Rs 10 crore from her. This demand was exposed by a 3-second clip from Nayanthara's film "Naanum Rowdy Dhaan" produced by Dhanush. This clip was used in the trailer of the docuseries.
Nayanthara had said, "Your legal notice after the release of the trailer of the Netflix documentary is even more shocking. We were shocked to read the lines in which you questioned the use of some videos (just 3 seconds) that were shot with our devices and that too BTS visuals which are already in the public domain on social media and claimed damages of Rs 10 crore for just 3 seconds." The angry actress said, "This is your lowest level ever and says a lot about your character. I wish you were the person who was on stage in front of your fans at the audio launch, but you do not practice what you preach." Many actresses who have worked with dhanush have reacted to this controversy. shruti haasan and other actors including Aishwarya Rajesh, aishwarya Lakshmi, Nazriya Fahad, anupama parameswaran Parvati Thiruvothu are seen standing in support of Nayanthara.
