The couple has three children, a son AR Ameen and two daughters Khatija rahman and Rahima Rahman. The news of the famous music composer and his wife Saira's separation was no less than a shock for their fans. Now AR rahman has broken his silence on the divorce.

AR rahman broke his silence on divorce

A few hours after announcing his divorce with wife saira, AR rahman wrote on his instagram (formerly Twitter), "We had hoped to reach the Grand Thirty, but it seems all things have an unseen end. Even the throne of god can tremble with the weight of broken hearts. Yet, in this disarray, we find meaning, even if the pieces never find their place again. Our friends, thank you for respecting our privacy while we go through this delicate chapter. rahman also added the hashtag #ARSairaBreakup."

Divorce was announced by issuing a joint statement

Earlier, Saira's lawyer Vandana Shah had issued a joint statement announcing the separation of the two. It read, "After many years of marriage, Mrs. saira and her husband AR rahman have taken the difficult decision to separate from each other. This decision has come after significant emotional stress in their relationship. Despite their deep love for each other, the couple has taken the difficult decision to separate from each other. It is found that the tensions and difficulties have created a huge gap between them which neither party is able to bridge at this time.

Mrs. saira and her husband Mr. AR rahman request privacy and understanding from the public during this challenging time as they go through this difficult chapter in their lives."

AR rahman Work Front         

On the work front, rahman has had six soundtrack releases this year in Tamil, malayalam and hindi languages. Ayalaan, Lal Salaam, Aadujeevitham or The Goat Life, Maidaan, amar singh Chamkila and Ryan. His next big releases are Chava, Thug Life and Ramayan Part I and Part II.
